HOW WE SUPPORT
Every young person arrives with their own story and their own goals. We build support around their placement plan and pathway plan, review it with them and their social worker, and step back as their confidence grows.
KEYWORK
Each young person has a named keyworker and planned keywork sessions every week. Sessions cover what matters to them, from managing money to staying safe, and are recorded so progress is clear to everyone involved.
INDEPENDENCE SKILLS
Cooking, budgeting, shopping, cleaning, paying bills and keeping appointments. Young people practise these for real in their home, with support reducing as they become confident.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND WORK
We help young people stay in or return to education, apply for courses and apprenticeships, write CVs and prepare for interviews.
HEALTH AND WELLBEING
We help young people register with a GP and dentist, attend appointments and look after their emotional wellbeing, linking them with specialist services when needed.
RELATIONSHIPS AND COMMUNITY
We support positive relationships with family, friends and professionals. Young people take part in local activities and volunteering, building confidence and a sense of belonging.
MOVING ON
From the first day we plan with the young person for their next step, whether that is supported housing, their own tenancy or further education away from home.
SOCIAL VALUE
We want young people to feel part of their community, not apart from it. Through keywork and shared activities, young people volunteer with local groups, learn practical skills such as budgeting and recycling, and gain the confidence and experience that lead to education, training and work.
WORKING WITH YOU
We keep social workers and placing authorities informed with regular updates, attend reviews and meetings, and tell you straight away about any concern.
